As promised, I have pictures of our front yard.

CASA DE GARCIA TURNS ONE!

Technically Casa de Garcia is four years old, but it has been one year since I purchased the .co domain. I originally wanted it to be CasaDeGarcia.com, but it had already been taken. I looked around on different sites like GoDaddy.com, but I didn't like the monthly payments. Luckily I got an email from Google Domains a few weeks earlier and went with them instead. It's a flat rate per year and was super easy to set up. It was a huge step and the biggest financial investment for the blog, but I wouldn't take it back!

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE

2015 was the best year yet. It was full of so many milestones (big and small). It wasn't easy by any means, but I am so happy that there were more positive than negative moments. I feel especially fortunate to have spent it with my husband, my family, and friends. I can't wait for 2016! Check my highlights for 2015 below.

KEVIN'S BIRTHDAY

November is here and before I know it December will be too. I seriously wonder how everyone else does it. School this semester hasn't been too hard just extremely busy. Anyway, I finally had some time and wanted to share our weekend so far.

SATURDAY FUN DAY

The fact Last weekend Kevin and I took the scenic route. We went on The Alpine Loop. It takes about an hour and it was so beautiful. I can't believe I had never done this before.

I'm finally back! To the one daily reader, thank you! No, seriously thanks for stopping by! 

I thought that with school being over I would have a lot  to write about, but it turns out I just got major writer's block. I'll just do a brief recap. A few months ago I shared our plan to buy a house. Two weeks ago we changed plans or rather the order of things. We're planning to post pone this until next summer. Instead we decided to go on a road trip  and plan a different life event. I'll discuss that in another post. One that won't take two months. 

We decided to take a trip to California in August and I'm already so excited. This time around we'll be going to Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. I started a list of places I want to go like Olvera Street and Angels Flight. I'll be sure to post pictures when we get back.

WHAT'S ON MY PHONE?

So I can't really explain why I have so many apps. Believe it or not I have deleted a decent number, but I don't know if you can really tell. You'll also notice I did this at one in the morning. I can never manage to go to sleep early and so most of my posts are around this kind of hour.

I keep all my utilities, settings, and financial stuff on the first screen. Social media is on the second, the photography, media and entertainment, shopping, fitness, home, and games.
