It's been eight months and we've finally started to make some real progress on the house. We started working on front and back yards. Check out our before pictures. I'll make sure to post more when we're done.
In the front yard, we removed old plants from the far right side of the house. We're going to try to grow grass there instead. We changed the garage and front door lights. The ones above are original to the house. They're old and way outdated. We got a steal at Costco. We got these LED lights for $40! They're hardwired but don't need any bulbs. Plus they have a sensor so they turn on and off on their own!
Kevin took down our Christmas lights and took some pics from the roof.
The original owners planted tulips, daffodils, and other flowers along the rocks. They're already starting to poke through. I can't wait to see them!
This garden bed near the front door was nice, but we wanted to change it up a bit. We ripped it all out and tilled the soil. I planted a rose bush and four peonies. I can't wait for these! Check back for an update!
