Today was filled with happiness without a doubt. It started off pretty well. I woke up early several times only to find out I could still sleep in. I also had a dream I was with Kevin which made it all better. I got to work early and waited for the elevator. Now there has been a lot of construction going on from Clearlink a few months ago on the second and part of the first floor, to the work they're doing in the back, and the new parking lot. So when I smelled the lacquer I didn't think much of it. Actually I liked it. I didn't know it would get worse, you see they're actually working on the fourth floor as well. The smell took a toll and an hour later we were all sent home.
This was great news! I called my babe as I waked out the door and headed to his house. We washes the Camaro and watched an episode of Dexter. By two we headed to the canyon for a father's day cookout. Kevin and I left in a separate car bit didn't know which park to go to in the canyon. After going in a few circles, searching for a table, we finally settled down and ate burgers and hotdogs. Originally published Sunday, June 18, 2012
