SPRING BREAK

Okay, Spring Break was actually more like three weeks ago. This semester has definitely been the hardest. I'm beginning to take upper level classes and Kevin is graduating. His last assignments are huge and he's been working so hard.

We took a break from it all for a whopping five days. I know crazy, but its the longest vacation I've had in forever. We left with our friends, Ben and Lisa. We rented a car and made the long drive. It was either 11:20 or 11:40 when we left and only stopped for gas. We arrived to pouring rain and hydroplaning. We drove through Palmdale which was a whole different world to me. It was snowing! There were cacti and houses so spread out. We got to Santa Clarita and I got to see where Kevin lived before moving to Utah. We had breakfast at Tilly's and headed to Valencia.

We couldn't check into out hotel until later so we killed time at Starbucks and then headed to the Valencia mall. We still had a few hours late but we headed over to our hotel anyway. We were able to check in early and we rested. Kevin and I grabbed lunch for everyone at Baja Fresh. We came back and rested some more.

Lisa's aunt wanted to have dinner with all of us. We met at the Culver City mall and went to dinner at BJ's. We ordered an amazing deep dish pizza. The whole reason we came was for a Pazookie
.

We ended the night by going to Amoeba Music in Hollywood. They had an amazing collection of vinyl, CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays, posters an more. We were there for a good while. Kevin and I found SNL's The Best of Will Ferrell and Family Guy.

On Saturday we woke up and headed to Six Flags. After arriving to rain and snow, I was happy to know it was nice and sunny. We went checked in past the first gates and stood in line to go inside. If you're wondering if you should buy Flash Passes, do it. The longest we had to wait was probably 15 minutes. In the morning there hardly any lines, by the afternoon it was packed.

We dropped Ben and Lisa at her aunts in LA and headed to Burbank. Right in downtown there is a restaurant named the Octopus. We met up with one of Kevin's best friends, Jason. If you go, you should definitely try Happy Hour. We got about five or size different sushi rolls. I had never tried it before but it was all delicious.

We ended our night at the Four Points by Sheraton. It was near the airport and pretty nice. I just have to warn you that they charge $19 for parking. Other than that that its newly remodeled, fresh, and clean.

We headed to downtown LA and hit the fashion district. I don't know why, but I absolutely love the place. It also includes a textile, flower, and jewelry area and those are just a few. We grabbed lunch at the Counter which is a definite must.

That evening we headed to Sacramento. We stayed with his cousin Rony and explored San Francisco the Net day. I had issues backing up my phone so there aren't any pictures, but we were able to go to the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the beach, Pier 39, Lombard Street, and the financial district.
